1947 PACKARD SUPER CLIPPER LIMOUSINESERIES 2126 MODEL 2150
Packard Cars were held in high esteem in Europe. Many Royal Houses and Governments favoured Packards as their prestige and parade vehicles. This 1947 Limousine was acquired new by the Vatican State to Join the fleet of official automobiles. It was registered there with licence plates SCV 23 and appointed to transportation of dignitaires and escort to the Pope. In this role it frequently carried foreign Diplomats who were visiting the Vatican State. After many years of impeccable service. The limousine was finally retired in the mid-seventies.
