1947 CADILLAC SERIES 75IMPERIAL SEDAN 75 MODEL 7533
The Government of Città del Vaticano on January 10th, 1947 ordered this limousine for the peronal use of Pope Pius XII. The order specified a single throne rear seat with left and right cabinets, two auxiliary chairs facing the throne, roller curtains, sunshine sliding roof, inercom with the driver and additional lighting. When delivered papal emblems and flag poles were added along with I scv license plates. After the death of Pius XII in 1958, the new Pope John XXIII requested a special roof openin to allow a standing entrance in the car.
